Kaiwen Zhu, MD, MS, is a board-certified internal medicine physician and clinical informaticist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He completed his residency and clinical informatics fellowship at Rochester General Hospital and earned a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the Rochester Institute of Technology. His work focuses on leveraging health information technology to improve healthcare delivery, with interests in EHR optimization, clinical decision support, and data-driven quality improvement. He collaborates with clinical and operational teams to enhance workflows and support high-value, patient-centered care, and is particularly interested in using health data analytics to drive system-level change and improve patient and provider experience.
